Emergency Aid

Implemented over a decade ago, Kaufman County residents are fortunate to have a program designed to help them with an unexpected, emergency situation. One-time monthly expenses for water, electric and gas utilities, and rent or mortgage assistance are available. The client must have means to pay the next month's bills and have documentation explaining the hardship they incurred. Applications are taken on Mondays in Terrell (972-563-7960) and Wednesdays in Kaufman (972-932-7002). Call for an appointment and more information.
