Procedures for riding KART

Client will need to call either office at least 24 hours in advance to reserve a seat on a KART vehicle.

When the client calls, they need to be prepared to give the following information:

  • Name
  • Race
  • Gender
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Social Security Number (Optional)
  • Emergency Contact Information
  • Boarding Needs - wheelchair, scooter, walker, cane, crutches, etc.
  • Correct name and address of the location they need to travel to.
  • Appointment time and return time, if applicable.

The dispatcher will then schedule the requested ride and let the client know how much their fare will be and when to be ready for pick up.

If needing to cancel their ride, clients are asked to call at least an hour in advance of their scheduled pick up time.
